Dosage and direction

To use Tenovate Cream properly, follow these guidelines:

Gently massage the cream on the skin until it is fully absorbed. Avoid covering or bandaging unless advised by your doctor.

Precautions

Contact you doctor if you have any of these conditions: High blood sugar (diabetes); Large areas of burned or damaged skin; Liver disease; Skin infection; An unusual or allergic reaction to clobetasol, steroids, other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives; Pregnant or trying to get pregnant; Breast-feeding.

Contraindications

Psoriasis: Overuse of Tenovate Cream in psoriasis patients can cause rebound flares.
Kidney Disease: Individuals suffering from kidney disease should be cautious when using Tenovate Cream due to potential systemic absorption and related complications.
Allergic: An unusual or allergic reaction to clobetasol, steroids, other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives.

Possible side effect

While using Tenovate Cream, you might experience some of the following side effects: Burning or stinging at the application site; Acne; Change in skin colour; Stretch marks; Itching.

Drug interaction

Tenovate Cream interacts with the following medicines:

Missed dose

Should you forget to apply Tenovate Cream at the scheduled time, do so as soon as you remember. However, if it's close to the time for your next application, leave out the forgotten dose and continue with your regular schedule. Never use extra cream to make up for a missed dose without consulting your doctor.

Overdose

If you accidentally apply more Tenovate Cream than recommended, you might experience some skin irritation or rash. If this happens, do not panic; simply wash off the excess cream with water. However, if symptoms persist or worsen, inform your doctor.

Storage

Store Tenovate Cream in a cool, dry place where the temperature is below 25°C. Keep the cream away from direct light and moisture. Always keep the cap of the cream container tightly closed when not in use. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
